Makkovik Inuit Community Government is seeking to hire a photographer to take pictures during community events through the year in 2015. These events may include but are not limited to Tournaments, Makkovik Easter Games, DHSD Jamboree, Fit week, Municipal Awareness Day, Makkovik Trout Festival, Canada Day, Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Candle Light Service.

Information Session on
Radon Results for Makkovik

With representatives from the Makkovik Inuit Community Government and the Nunatsiavut Government

When: 7 pm on Monday, October 6th
Where: Community Hall

There will be a community information session with results presented from a radon exposure study conducted by Dr. Atanu Sarkar at Memorial University.

Also, there will be smaller 1-hour information sessions available during the day on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday, October 7th.
