Roy Accepting his parting gift from MICG, Thursday June 11, 2020.
(larger version)
BEST WISHES!
The MICG did a presentation to Roy Martin on Thursday morning in recognition of his contribution to the MICG over the tenure of his work service here. We thank Roy for his dedication and professionalism in the workplace.
Given the times we are in a formal traditional gathering could not take place.
We wish Roy, April and family all the best on their move to Cartwright.
The piece of art work is Seal Skin Art by Nicole Chaulk of Goose Bay
WELCOME!
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Olsen Ford back to position as Water and Sewer Maintenance. Olsen worked at the Makkovik Arena for the last four winter seasons and certainly had the passion and dedication to this job! Your expertise and experience will be missed there Olsen.

Please be advised that the tanker will commence discharging fuel today 05 June 2020.
The culvert below the hydro plant on Moravian Street is blocked with ice so the discharge lines will have to be on top of the ground coming ashore at the boat ramp.
The public is urged to avoid the road to the gas station until the tanker has completed its discharge. The road will be closed for safety at Torsten's Loop. (road to gas station)
The gas will have to settle for 24 hours before sale. Therefore, there will be no gas sales until Monday, June 08 2020.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Thank you.
