Reminder from MICG Council

For any balances still owed on 2019 Municipal Taxes, a monthly 5% interest will be charged starting this month( July). Statement will be sent out on a monthly basis. Ex: if you owe $ 300.00, $15.00 will be added as the 5% interest for first month if not fully paid.

Property Clean up: Extended to July 8, 2019

Garbage Bags will be provided to those participating in Property Clean up, please drop by the Town office for some garbage bags.

If you can please take before and after photo and submit to MICG by emailing them to info@makkovik.ca or you can call your name in to 923-2221 for a chance to win a prize: $50.00 Gift Card from Hotel Makkovik

On Friday: July 5, 2019, if you are out and about cleaning up stop by to the Town Office for a lunch and beverage!!

Should you have any items including vehicle wrecks, old washer, dryers, etc. to be disposed of contact the MICG Admin Office at 923-2221 and the Town Crew will pick up and deliver to the dump for free!

FINAL NOTICE
For anyone owing 2018 Municipal Taxes, this is the final day to pay( in full). As per Council policy, failure to remit this outstanding amount will result in disconnection of water services to residence. As this invoice is over a year and six months old, there will be no exceptions.
Payment methods accepted: money order, cash, cheques( we also will accept post dated cheques dated up to August 31, 2019), debit, credit card( visa and mastercard) and emt. Emt's can be forwarded to info@makkovik. ca.

The monthly hydro bill to pump water to the water tank is an estimated $ 2,500.00 per month=$ 30,000.00 per year.
