Director of Recreation and Community Events

Makkovik is a visionary and progressive Inuit Community in Nunatsiavut which prides itself on solid strategic planning and outstanding recreational programs and facilities.

We are looking for a talented individual to lead the MICG Recreation Department, someone who has the drive, energy, and vision to lead a great team! As the Director of Recreation and Community Events, you will be responsible for working closely with our Makkovik Inuit Community Government and its leadership team, and for overseeing a full suite of local recreational programs, operations, and services – both inside and outside.
